Ford Transit Voted Base Vehicle of the Year – Again!
The Ford Transit has been voted as the best motorhome base vehicle by MMM magazine for the second year running.
The awards, presented by MMM (Motorcaravan Motorhome Monthly) magazine, reflect both its readers’ and expert judges ‘ opinions and experiences of all things motorhome related.
MMM cited the Transit’s competitive pricing, quality and “rock solid” twin rear wheel models as qualities that contributed to its excellence as a base vehicle, along with a plentiful array of optional extras like cruise control and steering wheel-mounted audio controls. A comprehensive dealer network was also a bonus.
Motorhome converters recognised in the awards included Romahome, Burstner, Wheelhome, Murvi, IH and Carthago.
