Motorhomes are four times greener!

Holidaying by motorhome or caravan is up to 4 times greener than travelling by air to an overseas resort, according to The Caravan Channel, a new programme on Sky TV.

The programme’s editor, Chris Gosling, explains how a family of four travelling by air to Spain will produce approximately four times as much CO2 as a family towing a medium-sized caravan for 1200 miles.

So if you are interested in reducing your carbon footprint, hiring a motorhome for your next holiday could be the answer.
