New VW Transporter & Califronia Campervan Due Soon

The next generation VW Transporter is expected to make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Over the last 60 years, the Transporter and its predecessors have formed the basis for many classic and modern campervans – the new model looks set to continue the tradition.

The new Transporter will boast Euro V compliant engines, a more car-like driving experience than ever and even more creature comforts. Interior options will include integrated hard drive navigation and audio systems, gear shift indicator for fuel economy and much more. New or upgraded safety features include a improved ESP system, hill start assist, side lane assist (to alert the driver to objects in the van’s blind sport) and tyre pressure monitoring.

The new range will include a new version of the VW California, the manufacturer’s own campervan conversion.
