All the Aires Benelux 3rd edition now on sale: pre-order and save!

If you’re heading over the Channel and planning some time in the Benelux countries this year, then you may want to grab a copy of All the Aires Belgium, Luxembourg and The Netherlands.

Vicarious Books has just put the finishing touches to the 3rd edition of this guide, which is at the printers as I write. It’s expected to be available from the 6th April, but if you pre-order you can currently buy this new guide for £13.50, a £1 saving on the RRP of £14.50.

Here at Motorhome Planet, we are long-time fans of the All the Aires guides, which we have been using since 2009. If you are new to these books, they’re English language guides to motorhome stopover facilities, or aires, as they’re known in France and elsewhere.

Each aire is photographed and a graphical key is used to list all the facilities available at each site — for example toilet waste disposal or electric hook-up.

According to Vicarious, the aires networks in Belgium and the Netherlands are growing rapidly. The number of stopover locations in Belgium is 62% higher than in the 2nd edition of this guide, while there is a 52% increase in the  number of Dutch aires.

These increases come despite news that Belgium has banned overnight parking along the coast since the last edition was published. Given the number of closures and new aires which have opened since then, it may be worth upgrading to the 3rd edition even if you own an older edition.

All but two of these aires were inspected by Vicarious founders Chris and Meli in the autumn of 2015 (the remaining two were inspected by the firm’s loyal readers!).
